They are essentially the same system, however the SDV37s is a definate improvement.

Nextbase portable tablet dvd player

Nextbase is the world's first Tablet Style DVD Player, is the new face of portable entertainment. With its super-sharp integrated widescreen 7 inch TFT display, and its ludicrously compact size (at only 2.6 cm deep!).

It's multi-regional, and will play pretty well anything you throw at it - DVDs, CDs, Kodak Picture CDs (great for showing off your photos to friends), and even MP3 CDs, so you can take all your music with you when you're on the move.

It has integrated stereo speakers and earphones, full fast-forward and zoom control, and even a remote control. The unit is mains powered and comes with an in-car adapter, so it's perfect for long car journeys. Due to its compact size, there's no room for an internal battery, but the lithium-ion travel battery will give you about 2.5hrs playback when you're away from a power source. It also comes with AV cables allowing it to double as your 'at home' DVD player.
